Overview
By default the Point of Sale receipt ends with a standard vendor line at the bottom. This module lets the administrator replace that footer with their own text for each POS configuration. The text appears on the receipt screen and in the browser print. Shops use it for thanks, return policy or contact details without any code change.
Usage steps
- 1
Open the POS settings
The administrator opens Point of Sale settings and selects the POS configuration. The receipt footer field is added to the settings page. The text is stored on the POS configuration record. Each register can have its own footer.
- Open Settings, Point of Sale
- Choose the configuration
- Footer stored per configuration
- 2
Type the footer text
The administrator types the new footer text and saves the settings. Short single-line messages fit the receipt best. Arabic and English text are both supported. Clearing the field goes back to the default line.
- Type the text and save
- Keep it short
- Empty means default
- 3
Receipt screen shows the new footer
After the next POS session load, the receipt screen replaces the bottom text with the configured footer. The cashier sees it right after payment. The change is made by a frontend script patching the receipt component. Other receipt parts are unchanged.
- Loads with the next session
- Visible right after payment
- Rest of the receipt unchanged
- 4
Printed and full receipts
The same footer is used for the browser print and the full receipt flow, so paper copies match the screen. The module applies only to the footer. It does not affect the invoice option, QR behaviour or the time-based products module. Reprints use the current footer text.
- Same footer on print and screen
- Footer only
- Reprints use the current text
