POS Salesperson

In many shops one cashier rings up sales made by several sales staff, so commissions and performance are hard to track. This module lets the cashier assign a salesperson to each order line inside the POS. It adds a setting to the POS configuration, a button and a line action in the interface, and a report grouping. Managers can measure each salesperson.

   Enable the option

   In the POS configuration the administrator ticks Allow Salesperson. The setting is also mirrored in Settings.

   Select a salesperson button

   In the POS screen a Salesperson button appears. The cashier selects a line and taps it to open the popup Select Salesperson.

   Salesperson shown on the line

   The Orderline template is extended so the salesperson name appears under the product. A reset control clears the choice.

   Saved with the order

   When the order is validated the user is stored on the pos.order.line field Salesperson and shown on the back-end order form.

   Report by salesperson

   In Point of Sale > Reporting > Orders the user groups by Salesperson to compare sales per person.
