POS Session Z Report

Closing a shop shift requires a summary of sales, taxes and payments by method. This module adds a Z report for the POS session that can be printed from the POS screen or from the session form. It uses the Point of Sale sessions and payments already recorded. Cashiers and supervisors close the day with a clear, printable summary.

   Allow the report in the POS

   In the POS configuration the manager ticks Allow to Print Session Z Report so the button appears in the front end.

   Work the session

   The cashier sells during the session. Orders, taxes, pricelists and payments accumulate on the session.

   Print from the front end

   A Session Report button in the POS header calls the report and opens the PDF without leaving the interface.

   Print from the back end

   On the session form the highlighted Session Z Report button runs action_session_z_report and prints the PDF using a dedicated paper format.

   Read the report sections

   The report shows opening and closing dates, sales totals, taxes, quantities per pricelist and amounts per payment method.
