Hospital Management

Hospitals and clinics need one system for patient files, appointments, treatment, tests and medicine stock. This module builds a hospital suite on Odoo with patient records, doctor schedules, outpatient and inpatient care, laboratory, pharmacy, vaccination, blood bank and infrastructure. It plugs into Employees, Inventory, Sales, Invoicing and Website booking. Receptionists, doctors, nurses, lab staff and pharmacists each get their own dashboard and rules.

   Register patients

   Under the Patient menu the receptionist creates a patient on the partner form with birth date, blood group, Rh type, gender, marital status and notes. A patient sequence number is generated.

   Set up doctors and schedules

   Employees marked as Doctor get consultation charge, type, average time, degrees and specialization. Doctor Allocation records define the working days and slots.

   Book appointments

   Patients or reception book an appointment with a doctor from the Bookings menu or from the website booking page. The booking stores consultation fee, date and reason.

   Outpatient consultation and prescription

   The doctor opens the Outpatient record, registers the reason and creates prescription lines with medicine, quantity, intakes and timing. Lab tests can be requested from the same record.

   Admit inpatients

   Under Inpatient the user admits a patient into a bed, room and ward. Doctor rounds, nursing plans, surgeries and payments are logged and tracked in the chatter.

   Manage infrastructure

   Buildings, wards, rooms, beds and facilities are defined with rents and nurses. Room and bed status shows availability for admissions.

   Laboratory tests

   Lab assistants create patient tests from Lab Test lines, record results with normal ranges, units and attachments, and can consume medicines. A lab dashboard summarises work.

   Pharmacy, medicine and vaccination

   Products can be flagged as Medicine or Vaccine and linked to a pharmacy and brand. Vaccination records create a sale order and the pharmacy dashboard tracks sales.

   Blood bank

   Blood donors are recorded with contra indication questions. A scheduled action updates blood availability and units can be assigned to a patient.

    Use dashboards and portal

    Reception, doctor, laboratory and pharmacist dashboards give one-click access to patients, bookings, tests and orders. Patients see vaccines, tests and outpatient visits in the portal.
