Hide Product Price

Warehouse and support staff often see product prices they do not need. This module adds two groups, Show Cost Price and Show Sale Price, and rewrites product form, list and kanban views so the price fields appear only to group members. It works on the Products app only. Companies protect margins and pricing data.

   Review the two groups

   In Settings > Users the groups Show Cost Price and Show Sale Price appear in the user access rights.

   Assign the groups

   The administrator adds trusted users, for example the purchasing manager, to the groups they need.

   • Cost group for purchasing
   • Sale group for sales

   Product form hides prices

   For users outside the groups the product template and product variant forms no longer show Sales Price or Cost.

   List and kanban hide prices

   Product list, kanban and name kanban views also drop the price columns and labels, so prices cannot be read from overview screens.
