Employee Contract Types

Companies classify employment contracts, for example permanent, fixed term or trainee, and need that on the contract. This module adds a simple contract type model and a field on the HR contract. It works with the Employees Contracts app and is a dependency of the payroll app. HR officers classify contracts consistently.

   Open configuration

   The HR officer opens the contract configuration menu where the contract types list is added.

   Define contract types

   Each hr.contract.type has a name and a sequence controlling display order. Records are created and edited in the list.

   Select the type on the contract

   On the employee contract form the field Employee Category (type_id) lets the user pick the type.
