POS Product Quick Info

Cashiers often need to check a product's details before selling it. This module adds an Info button on each product tile in the POS so the information popup opens with one click. It plugs into the Point of Sale app and is switched on per shop in the POS settings. It is used by cashiers and shop managers. The benefit is quick answers to customer questions without leaving the selling screen.

   Turn the feature on

   In the POS settings interface section the manager toggles the option to display quick product info. The value is stored on the POS configuration and is on by default. It applies only to that shop.

   See the Info button on tiles

   When the POS loads, each product tile shows an Info button above the product image. The button appears only if the shop setting is on. It does not add the product to the order.

   • Button: Info on each tile
   • Visible only when enabled

   Open the product information

   Clicking Info stops the normal tile click and opens the product information popup. The cashier reads price, stock and description details. Closing the popup returns to the selling screen.

   • Click does not add the product
   • Popup shows product details

   Continue the sale

   After checking, the cashier taps the tile itself to add the product to the order as usual. The module does not change prices or stock. It only speeds up lookups.
