Overview
The standard export writes image fields as raw text, so spreadsheets of products or employees lose their pictures. This module extends the export dialog so image fields can be included in the Excel file. It is used by anyone who exports catalogues, employee lists or similar records. It needs no new menu and no extra screen. The benefit is a ready-to-share spreadsheet with pictures.
Usage steps
- 1
Open the export dialog
On any list view the user selects records and chooses Action > Export. The standard export dialog opens as usual. The module keeps the familiar layout.
- Action > Export
- Same dialog
- No new menu
- 2
Pick image fields
Among the exportable fields the user ticks image fields such as a product picture. They are added to the columns list like any other field. Several fields can be chosen together.

Export to xlsx
The user chooses the xlsx format and presses Export. A controller builds the workbook and embeds each image in its cell. The file is downloaded by the browser.

Share the file
The resulting spreadsheet opens in any office suite with pictures visible. Users send it to customers, suppliers or colleagues. No later conversion is needed.
