Hide Powered By Footer

Companies that publish a website often prefer their own footer text instead of the default promotion line. This module adds two settings and overrides the brand promotion template. It works with the Website and Web apps. The benefit is a clean, branded footer controlled from the settings screen.

   Open the website settings

   The administrator opens Settings and finds the powered-by block added by the module. It appears in the general settings view. It applies to the current website.

   Show or hide the line

   A Show Powered By switch controls whether the default line is displayed. Turning it off removes the promotion message from the footer. The value is stored as a setting.

   Write custom footer text

   An HTML field lets the administrator write a custom footer message with formatting and links. The text replaces the default line when the switch is off. It can hold a copyright statement.

   See it on the website

   The template web.brand_promotion_message is inherited and renders the chosen text. Visitors see the new footer after the page loads. No page editing is needed.
