Overview
Warehouse staff open long stock move and transfer lists just to count what is waiting. This module adds a mini dashboard renderer to the stock.move and stock.picking list views. It reuses the standard filters such as Draft, Waiting and Done. The benefit is real-time counts and quick filtering without leaving the list.
Usage steps
- 1
Open stock moves
The user opens the stock move analysis list. The list view now uses the custom stock_move_dashboard_list type. A dashboard strip appears above the records.
- View type: stock_move_dashboard_list
- Model: stock.move
- 2
Read the move counts
The dashboard component shows counts per state such as Draft, Waiting and Done. Values are fetched by the model extension. They reflect the current search domain.
- Filters: Draft, Waiting
- Counts follow the domain
- 3
Open transfers
In the transfers list the picking list view uses stock_picking_dashboard_list. A similar strip shows the picking states. The internal search view keeps its Done filter.
- Model: stock.picking
- Filter: Done
- 4
Filter from the dashboard
Clicking a dashboard item applies the matching filter to the list. The user sees only that group of records. Clearing the filter restores the full list.
- One click filter
- Reset restores the list
