Legal Case Dashboard

Managers of a legal office want to see how many cases are open, won or lost without opening lists. This module adds a client-action dashboard that reads case data through JSON routes and draws cards and charts. It extends the Legal Case Management app with a Dashboard menu and a lawyer filter. The main benefit is a fast, filterable overview of the case portfolio.

   Open the dashboard

   From the Legal Case Management menu press Dashboard. A client action loads the dashboard template and requests the values. The screen opens with default figures.

   Read the summary cards

   Cards show counts of cases by state. The values come from the route /case/dashboard restricted to logged-in users. Numbers reflect current records.

   Review the charts

   Charts group the cases by month and category using the dashboard script. The month labels come from the case dates. They help see trends.

   Filter by lawyer and date

   Pick a lawyer from the selection filled by /selection/field/lawyer and choose a date range. The dashboard refetches values through /dashboard/filter. Clearing the filter returns to the unfiltered totals.
