Login Page Background Image

The default login page is plain and carries no brand. This module adds an image field on the company and applies it as the background of the frontend layout used by the login page. It depends on base and portal, so it works for both backend and portal logins. Administrators change the image at any time, which gives a branded first impression.

   Open the company form

   Go to Settings, Companies and open the company. The form is extended with an image field for the login background. Only administrators reach it.

   Upload the image

   Click the image field and upload a picture, then save. The image is stored as binary on the company. A controller serves it to the login page.

   Template applies the background

   The frontend layout template reads the company image and sets it as page background. The login page renders with it. No code change is needed per database.

   Check the login page

   Open the login page in a private window to confirm the image shows. Replace the image to change the look. Removing it restores the default.
