Arabic Font Pack

The default Odoo font does not render Arabic text as cleanly as dedicated Arabic typefaces. This module bundles three Arabic font families and applies an Arabic font to the whole web client through style sheets. A separate stylesheet covers the point of sale screens. It depends only on the web app and gives Arabic-speaking users a more readable interface.

   Install the module

   Install from Apps. The asset bundle links the font style files through a template. Fonts are loaded from the module itself.

   Font families declared

   Three SCSS files declare the font faces for three Arabic families. Each declares weights used by the interface. They are compiled into the assets.

   • almaraifont, cairofont, droidfont
   • Loaded through SCSS

   Backend uses the Arabic font

   The web style file sets the font family with important priority on the interface. Menus, forms and lists switch to the Arabic font. Numbers and Latin text also follow.

   Point of sale uses the font

   A dedicated stylesheet applies the font to the point of sale screens. Cashiers see Arabic product names clearly. Receipts follow the same style when rendered in the screen.
