Report Header and Footer Images

Printed documents need a branded letterhead and footer, but the standard layouts only take a logo. This module adds five image fields on the company (left, medium, right, header, footer) and two extra report layouts, one with a background image and one freestyle. The images and a font choice appear in the document layout wizard. It builds on the Arabic font module and helps every printed report.

   Open the company form

   Go to Settings, Companies, and open the Report Image tab added by the module. It holds the five image fields. Only administrators see it.

   Upload the images

   Upload the left, medium, right, header and footer images. Each is stored on the company. They can be replaced later without code changes.

   Open the document layout

   From settings press Configure Document Layout. The wizard is extended to show the same images next to the logo. Changes are previewed live.

   Pick a report layout

   Two new layouts are registered: a background layout and a freestyle layout. Choose one in the wizard. Every report then uses it.

   Choose the report font

   The company font selection offers several typefaces. The report style template applies the chosen font. Arabic reports rely on the Arabic font module.

   Print a report to verify

   Print an invoice or quotation and check the header, footer and background in the PDF. Adjust image sizes if needed. Repeat for each company.
