Journal Entry Report

The default journal entry printout may not match accounting office needs. This module adds a custom QWeb PDF report on account moves, named from the entry base filename. It reads the extra fields of the journal entry customisation module. It is used by accountants and plugs into Accounting.

   Open a journal entry

   Go to Accounting and open a journal entry or an invoice. The new report is bound to the Print menu of account moves.

   • Model account.move
   • Binding type: report

   Print the custom report

   Choose Journal Entry Report from Print to download the PDF in the custom layout.

   File naming

   The PDF file is named with the entry base filename so files are easy to identify.

   • No attachment stored

   Uses custom fields

   Because it depends on the journal entry customisation, the report can show the note and the sales revenue fields.
