Negative Quantity Sale Group

This small base module defines a single security group named Allow Negative Qty Sale. It is meant to sit under quantity-blocking logic in the sales flow, so that only the users placed in this group are allowed to enter negative quantities on sale lines. Administrators use it to keep control over returns and corrections instead of leaving them open to every salesperson. It plugs into the Sales app through Odoo's standard user access-rights screen and adds no new menus or screens.

   Install the base group

   Installing the module loads a data file that creates the security group Allow Negative Qty Sale. No configuration screen is needed. The group is then available in the user access-rights list like any other Odoo group.

   Assign the group to trusted users

   An administrator opens Settings, then Users, opens a user and ticks the group in the access-rights section. Only users with this group are meant to be able to sell negative quantities. Everyone else stays blocked.

   Use as a base for quantity checks

   Other custom modules can check membership of this group before accepting a negative quantity on a sale line. This keeps the rule in one shared place instead of repeating it in every module. The module itself only supplies the group.

   Audit who can sell negative quantities

   Administrators can filter users by this group to see who holds the privilege at any time. Removing a user from the group immediately blocks that person from negative sales quantities in modules that respect it.
