Overview
This module gives a real estate office one place to keep its property listings, agents, tenants, leases and sales. Property managers and agents record each unit with its type, address, price, area, rooms, amenities, images and status, then link it to an agent and to a sale or a lease. It is a standalone app with its own Real Estate menu and does not depend on other Odoo apps for its screens. The main benefit is a single organised register of what is available, sold or rented and to whom.
Usage steps
- 1
Define property types and amenities
The module loads default property types such as Apartment, House and Commercial. Users can add amenities with a name and description that are later picked on each property. These lists keep property records consistent.
- Types: Apartment, House, Commercial
- Amenity name and description
- Reused on every property
- 2
Register a property
From Real Estate > Properties, the user creates a property with name, type, address, city, state, zip code, country, price, area, rooms, bathrooms, floors and condition. Images, a gallery, latitude and longitude can be added. The status starts as available and moves through pending, sold or rented.
- Required: name, type, area
- Status: available, pending, sold, rented
- Amenities as tags
- 3
Manage agents
In the Agents menu the office records each agent with name, phone, email, agency name, years of experience and a profile picture. The agent form lists the properties assigned to that agent. Each property can then point to its agent.
- Name, phone, email
- Agency and experience
- Properties list per agent
- 4
Register tenants
The Tenants menu keeps tenant name, phone, email, occupation, birthdate and picture. Each tenant form shows the leases linked to that person. This gives the office a history of who rented what.
- Contact details
- Occupation and birthdate
- Leases shown on the tenant
- 5
Create a lease
In Leases the user selects the property and tenant, then enters start date, end date and rent amount. All five fields are required. The lease is then linked back to the property and tenant.
- Property and tenant required
- Start and end dates
- Rent amount
- 6
Record a sale
In Sales the user picks the property and enters buyer name, sale date and sale price, all required. The list view shows sales by date so the office can follow closed deals. The property can then be marked as sold.
- Buyer name
- Sale date and price
- Linked to the property
