Overview
This module records where employees check in and out and lets them add a short message with each action. It reads the browser location when the employee signs in or out from the attendance menu and stores latitude and longitude on the attendance record. HR officers and attendance managers use it to verify remote or field attendance. It plugs into the HR Attendance app and adds a map link on each record.
Usage steps
- 1
Sign in or out with location
The employee uses the check in and out control in the top bar. The browser asks for the location permission and the module captures the coordinates. If the location is refused, an error notification is shown.

Add a check-in or check-out message
The employee can type a note when signing in or out. The messages are stored as Check in message and Check out message on the attendance record. Managers read them to understand late or remote work.

Open the location on a map
Attendance list and form views show latitude, longitude and two URL fields that open the check-in and check-out location in Google Maps. One click shows where the action was made. This works for both actions.

- URL widget for check-out

Search results by employee and period
Under the Get Geolocation Result menu, restricted to attendance managers, the user selects employees, department, job position and a date range and presses Search. A Map Result tab lists the matching attendances, and Clear resets the form.
