Sticky Notes

This module adds a sticky notes icon to the top bar so any user can jot down a quick note without leaving the screen. Notes have a title and text, belong to their owner and can be added, edited and deleted from a popup. A full Notes menu is also available. It plugs into the Odoo web client systray. The benefit is a personal scratchpad inside Odoo instead of external note apps.

   Open the sticky notes dropdown

   The user clicks the sticky note icon in the systray. A dropdown loads the user's notes when it opens. Every internal user can use it.

   Add a note

   The add-note dialog takes a title, which defaults to Untitled Note, and the content text. On saving, a success notification confirms the note was created. If saving fails, a danger notification is shown.

   View and edit notes

   The view-notes dialog lists the owner's notes and lets the user open one and edit its title and text. Saving shows a Note updated notification. Each note is private to its owner.

   Delete a note

   Deleting asks for confirmation with Yes and No. On confirming the note is removed and a Note deleted message appears. Notes carry an active flag so they can be archived.

   Manage notes from the Notes menu

   The Sticky Notes app menu opens a list and form of notes with title, owner and creation date. This lets a user search and sort all their notes on a full screen.
