Overview
This module reports how old the stock on hand is. A wizard asks for four day intervals, then builds a report that splits each product's quantity and value into five age buckets by warehouse and location. Inventory managers and accountants use it to find slow-moving or obsolete stock. It plugs into the Inventory app and stock quants. The benefit is a clear view of capital tied up in old stock.
Usage steps
- 1
Open the generate wizard
From the Inventory reporting menu the user opens the Generate Stock Aging wizard. It is available to stock users. The wizard shows four interval fields.

Set the age intervals
The intervals default to 30, 60, 90 and 120 days and are required. They define five buckets, for example 0-30, 31-60 up to over 120 days. The user can change them to fit the business.
