Islamic Assistant

This module adds Islamic reminders to the Odoo top bar. Each user can choose a country and city and a calculation method, receive prayer times, hear the adhan sound, get periodic azkar notifications and use a simple tasbeeh counter. The azkar come from a built-in database that administrators can maintain. It plugs into the web client systray and user preferences and needs internet access for prayer times. The benefit is spiritual reminders without leaving the work screen.

   Open the user preferences

   In the user preferences form a new Azkar Settings tab is added. The user sees the switches and location fields there. Settings are personal to each user.

   Set location and method

   The user picks a country, then a city filtered by that country, and a prayer calculation method. These values decide the prayer times. The times are fetched from an online service when the widget loads.

   Enable azkar and adhan

   The user turns on notifications, sets the interval in minutes (default 60) and can enable the adhan sound. Sub-options appear only when notifications are enabled. An mp3 adhan is bundled with the module.

   Systray widget and tasbeeh

   A systray component shows the next prayer time and the current azkar, and a circle counter lets the user tap to count tasbeeh. Data is fetched from the module's route for the logged-in user. Notifications appear at the chosen interval.

   Maintain the azkar database

   The Azkar Database action lists zekr text and category, with sample data loaded on install. Administrators can add or edit entries. Users can also open the thekr configuration from their settings.
