Analytic Accounts on Stock Picking

Cost tracking by project or department often stops at the warehouse because stock moves have no analytic information. This module adds an analytic distribution field to stock moves shown on the transfer form. When the related journal entry is posted, analytic lines are generated and stamped with the transfer reference. Cost controllers and accountants gain traceability from stock operations to analytic reports in Inventory and Accounting.

   Set analytic on moves

   On a stock transfer the operations lines show an Analytic distribution widget. The user picks accounts and percentages for each move.

   Compute distribution

   The analytic value is computed from the move and its precision is taken from the analytic decimal setting. The field is not stored so it always reflects current data.

   Post the journal entry

   When the accounting entry linked to the stock operation is posted, the module creates analytic lines from the move distribution. This extends the post action of journal entries.

   Trace by transfer reference

   Each analytic line receives a Transfer Reference field visible in the analytic line views. Users can filter and group by it in analytic reporting.
