Stock Analytic Distribution

Companies that cost by project or department lose analytics at the warehouse. This module adds analytic distribution to stock moves, move lines and scraps and can require it through applicability rules by operation type. The distribution flows from procurement to moves and into accounting lines when valued. It plugs into Inventory, stock accounting and Analytic accounting.

   Set analytic applicability

   Configure analytic applicability with the stock business domain and an operation type so the distribution field is offered on stock operations. Scores decide which rule applies.

   Distribute on stock moves

   On a transfer the move lines show an Analytic distribution field. Users split cost across analytic accounts by percentage.

   Validate the distribution

   When validation is required the transfer cannot be validated without a complete distribution. Validating the picking runs the check.

   Propagate from procurement

   Procurement rules copy the analytic distribution to created moves. Chained moves inherit the same split.

   Scrap with analytics

   Scrap orders also carry the analytic distribution and pass it to the resulting move. Scrap cost is thereby allocated.

   Post to accounting lines

   When stock valuation entries are prepared the distribution is written on the journal lines. Analytic reports then show stock costs.
