Disable Bank Auto Match

Odoo periodically tries to reconcile bank statement lines automatically, and some teams want every bank line to be matched and validated by a person. This module overrides the auto-reconcile method and the scheduled action so they do nothing. It also blocks automatic validation performed under a bot-named user. It plugs into Accounting bank statement lines and gives accountants full control over what is matched.

   Install the module

   Install it from Apps; there are no menus or settings. The override applies immediately to the bank statement line model. No data is changed.

   Scheduled auto-match becomes a no-op

   The scheduled action that tries to auto-reconcile statement lines now returns immediately. The private method it relies on also returns without work. Lines stay unmatched until a user acts.

   Validate lines manually

   Accountants open the bank reconciliation screen and validate each line themselves. The validate action works normally for real users. It is skipped only when the running user name contains "bot".

   Keep control after upgrades

   Because the override sits on top of the standard model, it keeps working after upgrades of the accounting app. Uninstall the module to restore automatic matching.
