Product RTL Display

Product names that mix Arabic text with Latin codes or numbers often appear scrambled in lists, kanban cards, Many2one fields and printed documents. This module adds a direction-aware display for product fields across Odoo Product, Inventory and Accounting views and for the invoice and delivery reports. A single company setting switches it on or off. Warehouse, sales and accounting users read product lines the way they were typed, on screen and on paper.

   Switch RTL mode on

   In the general settings there is a Product RTL section with a field named RTL Active. The administrator sets it to Active or Inactive. The choice is passed to the browser in the session information so the interface knows whether to apply the display rules.

   Product forms and lists

   The product template and variant forms, list views and tag lists are extended so names and codes are wrapped in a direction-safe element. Users see the same text in the same order regardless of mixed scripts. No new fields or menus are added.

   Kanban and catalog cards

   Product kanban cards, the catalog kanban and the activity view are adjusted the same way. Product names on cards no longer flip around the code. This helps when picking products for sales or purchases from the catalog.

   Inventory operations screens

   The editable inventory quantity list and the detailed operations lines on stock moves also use the direction-aware display. Warehouse staff read product names correctly while counting and validating. Pivot and Many2one dropdowns get their own templates.

   Printed invoices and delivery slips

   The invoice document and the delivery slip templates, including the aggregated and serial-number variants, are extended with the same treatment. Product code and description print in a readable order. Dedicated print styles keep the result stable in PDF.
