Bilingual Company Website

This module delivers a complete bilingual (Arabic and English) company website on the Odoo Website app. Site owners keep the brand identity and theme palette in one screen, while page packages let editors validate, preview, publish and roll back page content safely. Visitors send consultation requests through a website form and each request lands in the backend with chatter. It suits companies that want a polished site with light and dark themes and a controlled publishing workflow without coding.

   Set the site identity

   From the identity menu the editor opens the identity record for a website and fills name, owner, tagline, address, phones, email and logo. These values feed the shared header, footer and contact sections of every page. The record can be archived when not needed. Access is limited to the web editor and manager groups.

   Choose the theme palette

   On the Theme Palette tab the editor sets brand primary, secondary and accent colours, text on brand, and light page, section and surface backgrounds. Apply Palette saves them, Open Light Preview shows the result and Reset to Defaults restores the original palette. The site also supports a dark theme toggle for visitors. This keeps the look consistent without editing stylesheets.

   Build the site and proof page

   The Create Proof Page button generates a test page from the identity so the editor can check the layout, and Open Page shows it. Build / Complete Website creates the bilingual pages, menu and layout in one action and marks the identity as built. Previous website values are kept so the change can be traced. Pages are provided in Arabic and English with active menu highlighting.

   Import page packages

   In Page Packages the editor uploads a package file and the system stores its key, URL, page type and English and Arabic titles. The Download builder kit button gives the template kit used to prepare packages. Each package tracks who imported it and when it was validated or published. A shared style gate checks that page CSS follows the site rules.

   Validate, preview, publish and roll back

   A package moves through states with the buttons Validate, Preview, Publish and Roll Back. Validation errors are shown in a dedicated tab, and publishing can replace an existing page or create a new one and its menu entry. A backup of the previous page arch is kept so Roll Back restores it. Credits and the menu specification are stored on the package.

   Export pages

   The Export Pages wizard lets the editor choose a website, select pages and decide whether to include unpublished ones, then Download produces a file. A single package can also be exported with Export this page. This supports moving pages between databases or keeping a backup.

   Receive consultation requests

   Visitors fill the consultation form on the website with name, company, phone, email, service and message. Each submission creates a request in Consultation Requests with the website, language and a state, shown as list, kanban and form with chatter. Staff follow the request by moving its state and logging notes. Access is granted to the web editor and manager groups.
