Overview
Invoicing after every delivery is repetitive work. This module creates the customer invoice from the sales order when a delivery is validated, posts it, and can email it to the customer. It is used by sales and accounting teams that invoice on delivery. It connects Sales, Inventory and Accounting through two simple settings. The benefit is faster billing with no forgotten invoices.
Usage steps
- 1
Enable in settings
In Sales settings two options appear: create and post the invoice on delivery validation, and send the invoice automatically. They are stored as system parameters. The administrator turns each on or off.
- Option: Auto Post invoice
- Option: Auto Send Invoice
- Stored as parameters
- 2
Validate the delivery
The warehouse user opens a delivery and presses Validate. The module lets the standard validation finish first. It then checks the settings and the linked sales order.

Create and post the invoice
If the option is on, the module creates the customer invoice from the sales order and posts it. The invoice follows the standard rules for quantities and taxes. It is linked to the order.
